They're both empty boxes with "instructions", saying "Call this 1-800 number to schedule your appointment". They then call local DNA companies like us to perform the test and mark up the cost, add collection charges, extra fees, and make you pay again just to access the results! These are marketed as cheap alternatives, when in reality they are taking advantage of unsuspecting victims. It's their business model, $25 is a pretty good profit for every empty box kit sold.
